Buckner and I went to see Pulp Fiction during the Tarantino Film Festival one of our local radio stations put on. I was flipping through the hilarious pics on a Facebook group’s page, saw this, and had to post it.

Last month, HBO brought us “The Get By” in association with thier series “How to make it in America” This 20 min. documentary on skateboarding in New York City is incredible, highlighting the faces of a culture born from the biggest Urban Jungle in the US. There is also a Parallel to Skating in South Dakota, where there arent really that many perfect skate places, you really have to rely on creativity in order to really bring it…Thanks to Transworld Skate for putting this up!

EA Games has released the Skate 3 demo! You have got to check it out if you have a PS3 or XBOX 360. Release date for the full game is May 11th, so throw some cash money down on a reserved copy so you can play right away!
They’re already hosting a competition if you think you got what it takes!

We were having a chat the other day about one of skateboarding’s pioneers, Rodney Mullen. Just about any trick you can think of, Rodney played a part in creating it. He was the first to do all the fundamentals: Flat land Ollie, Kick Flip, Heel Flip, Impossible, and 360 flips to name a few. A lot of his tricks aren’t even used anymore, since flatland skateboarding is a thing of the past.
