Local talent! One of edge.’s past employees and a Rapid City native, Jonny Durst, has wrapped up another new snow vid, “Come Find Us” from Toy Soldier Productions. Jonny has a great eye for vid shots and does a great job at production.

The riders in this vid DEFINITELY give all the pro riders out there a run for their money! I would assume that some reps will be calling these guys up after this vid drops!

oh boy oh boy OH BOY! First off, I’m not a skier, BUT, even I look forward to the new Poor Boyz Productions vids each year. And from the looks of their teaser trailer for 2010’s vid “Revolver”, it looks like we won’t be disappointed.

Here it is, the Match Stick Productions’ teaser for their new vid, “The Way I see It”.

From what I can tell from the trailer, the footage is AWESOME! I guess you wouldn’t expect anything less from another video sponsored by Red Bull, just like the ground breaking snowboard film, “That’s It, That’s All”. Though it appears 3D was out of the budget this year, you can still get the best of it all on Blu-Ray at home.

With street, park, and backcountry riding, this vid will definitely fill the needs of every snow fan. Watch closely, you’ll see the fabled Triple Cork!

Scheduled world premier is scheduled for Sept. 18th in Boulder, CO. It’s not too far of a drive, and it’s not too long of a wait either!

For you ski junkies, I’m proud to post for you Teton Gravity Research’s 2010 feature film, “Light the Wick”. It looks like they’re doing their snowboard filming separate from the skiing now…. don’t know how i feel about that.

But I am stoked about this video! They’re even using 3D cameras this year! Hot damn, take a gander!

Well, well, WELL! Volcom will finally be releasing their 6th feature snow vid “9191” this year! The last video they did was “Escramble” back in 2006, a personal favorite of mine.

The difference this year is they’re focusing on Gigi Ruf, a long time rider for them. Is Volcom looking for the same success as Red Bull/Brain Farm’s “That’s It, That’s All.” with Travis Rice? I’m inclined to think so…. The Video has plenty of other riders in it, just like TITA, including Bryan Iguchi, Nicolas Muller, and Willie Yli-Louma.

If you haven’t seen any of Volcom’s vids before, they are definitely on the artsy side and less on the conventional, which is why I think a lot of people enjoy their films. You’ll understand once you’ve watched the trailer.

Another promising looking trailer! This one is called “Don’t Panic!”, and it’s from our friends across the pond at Isenseven.

Isenseven, a European production group, always has great visuals and awesome riders! Unfortunately for us Americans, they were having problems last year converting their video to a format that we can watch, so I never got to see last year’s vid on my home t.v.! Hopefully, they’ve solved this little dilemma….

Quite possibly my favorite snowboarding team, Forum, has lunched their trailer for their new video, “F@#% It”!

If you’ve been paying attention to the TheGnarSpot.com, you’ll already know that my boy Eddie Wall is no longer on the team. The silver lining is that we’ll have the dynamic duo of John Jackson and new team member Andreas Wiig throwing down sick lines of backcountry booters!

You have to give this video a minute to get into it, but it’s WELL WORTH the patience! This guy has it figured out, and I recommend that every single dude out there follows this guys lead.
