Seems the rumors are right!  Andreas Wiig has left Nitro snowboards for Forum, and the whole industry is going upside down!  Reason for leaving:  in Andreas’ own words, he felt he was living in the shadow of fellow Nitro global team rider Eero Ettala.  Also, Burton/Forum reportedly offered Andreas up to 5 times the salary Nitro was paying him!  To give you an idea of how much it might have been, Shaun White was offered $24 million for 9 years just to ride the B’s decks! Because Forum is picking up such a big rider, they have to cut someone off the team… I’ve been told that Eddie Wall is leaving Forum and Four Square and now riding head-to-toe with DC. Also, Vans has decided to drop their outerwear line next season!  They’ve signed Andreas up for the next 3 years on Vans boots and Pro-Tec helmets, but now it looks like Andreas will be filling in Eddie Wall’s spot on Four Square for outerwear.
