Quite possibly my favorite snowboarding team, Forum, has lunched their trailer for their new video, “F@#% It”!
If you’ve been paying attention to the TheGnarSpot.com, you’ll already know that my boy Eddie Wall is no longer on the team. The silver lining is that we’ll have the dynamic duo of John Jackson and new team member Andreas Wiig throwing down sick lines of backcountry booters!
Is winter here YET?!

Hanging with John Jackson from Forum at the 11th Annual Transworld Snowboard Riders’ Polls! J.J. took home Best Video Part, Rider of the Year, AND he and the rest of the Forum team took the award for Video of the Year! Check out Transworld Snowboarding for all the other winners.

HOLY MOLY, ANDREAS WIIG IS ON FORUM!!!

Seems the rumors are right! Andreas Wiig has left Nitro snowboards for Forum, and the whole industry is going upside down! Reason for leaving: in Andreas’ own words, he felt he was living in the shadow of fellow Nitro global team rider Eero Ettala. Also, Burton/Forum reportedly offered Andreas up to 5 times the salary Nitro was paying him! To give you an idea of how much it might have been, Shaun White was offered $24 million for 9 years just to ride the B’s decks!
Because Forum is picking up such a big rider, they have to cut someone off the team… I’ve been told that Eddie Wall is leaving Forum and Four Square and now riding head-to-toe with DC.
Also, Vans has decided to drop their outerwear line next season! They’ve signed Andreas up for the next 3 years on Vans boots and Pro-Tec helmets, but now it looks like Andreas will be filling in Eddie Wall’s spot on Four Square for outerwear.
